Board of Directors
Dr. Marelli MD, MSc
Following Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery residency at McGill University (1994) Dr. Marelli completed additional transplant and pediatric cardiac surgery training at the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA). Prior to his current position, Dr Marelli served on the faculty at UCLA. He has authored over 100 peer reviewed articles and proceedings. His current practice interests are Adult Cardiac Surgery as well as endovascular operations of the aorta.
Avery Chandler BS
Avery Chandler is a current graduate from the University of Delaware (2017) with a BS in Health Behavior Science. He is currently working with the director of Anesthesiology, a cardiovascular surgeon, and the chief of neurosurgery to further his career in the medical field.
Cameron Phelps
Cameron Phelps is currently perusing a BS in Exercise Science at West Chester University (2018). He is currently working under a cardiovascular surgeon to further his career in the medical field.
Ananya Garg
Ananya Garg is a cofounder of Physicians Advanced Directive. She is a recent graduate of Caesar Rodney High School. She will be attending the University of Delaware in the fall and is majoring in Biological Sciences. Ananya has worked on two research projects under Dr. Daniel Marelli since May of 2015, one leading to her presenting at the American Association for Thoracic Surgery International Coronary Congress in India.
